I interviewed Sandra Steingraber
and Ruth Caplan on Nov. 14, 2006,
and years later it is as apropos as it ever was.
We talked about bottled water and the plastic it comes in from a national perspective.
We covered water privatization and the environmental and health aspects of bottled water from transporting it to substances from the plastic itself leaching into the water and damaging our health, sometimes severely. You also get a good overview on drinking water from the tap.
The five files you can listen to here are the news section I start every show with (the opening song has been edited out), the interview itself divided into three files for faster downloading (especially for those of us with slow modems) then most of the listener phone call segment.
