I interviewed Deborah Goldberg of Earthjustice and Annie Wilson of Sierra Club Atlantic Chapter on Dec. 1, 2009. We talked about natural gas drilling, the hydraulic fracturing process (aka fracking) and what happens to water supplies, air and wildlife both near and far.
As you can see below, we covered the topic from a lot of different directions, nationally as well as regionally. Water, air, wildlife, radiation, public policy, tourism and solutions were all covered. I trust you'll find it both interesting and informative
The files you can listen to here are the news section I start every show with (the opening song has been edited out), the interview itself divided into smaller files for faster downloading (especially for those of us with dial-up modems), the Feb. 9, 2010 interview with Mayor Calvin Tillman of Dish, Texas, whose town has already suffered from fracking, then the entire show and Feb. 9, 2010 interview in one file, for those of you with fast downloading.
