Drinking Water, Gas, Hydraulic Fracturing

Drinking Water has only limited protection in most areas of the U.S., including New York state. Hydraulic Fracturing, also called "fracking," is a method of natural gas extraction invented by Halliburton, Inc. that was specifically exempted from environmental regulations during the Bush-Cheney administration.
